That’s why, at Children’s Aquarium Dallas, we are committed to being an accessible aquarium in the DFW area. We create a space where guests of all ages and abilities can explore our interactive exhibits, discover fascinating aquatic animals, and make lasting family memories. It’s all possible with walkways and ramps throughout the facility that support wheelchairs and strollers, as well as sensory-friendly solutions that help support guests with a variety of needs.

Wide walkways and conveniently placed ramps throughout the aquarium make it easy for visitors using wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers to access exhibits. Whether you’re watching sharks glide through the water, getting close to fascinating marine creatures, or exploring our interactive displays, you’ll find pathways that allow you to enjoy every moment.
For added convenience, accessible restrooms are also available on-site. These restrooms are designed to accommodate guests with mobility needs while also providing baby changing tables for families with young children.

Additional Stroller Information for Families
Strollers are always welcome throughout the aquarium. We know that little legs can get tired quickly during a day of discovery!
However, please keep in mind that weekends and holidays can become very busy. During these peak times, heavy crowds can make navigating with a large stroller a bit challenging. For some families, visiting without a stroller or using a smaller umbrella stroller might offer a much more comfortable experience.
If you decide you do not need your stroller during your walk, we can help. Guests may request stroller storage at the front gate.
Please note that Children’s Aquarium Dallas does not offer stroller rentals at this time. We highly recommend bringing your own preferred stroller from home to ensure your child’s comfort.

As part of this commitment, Children’s Aquarium Dallas is a Certified Sensory Inclusive facility through KultureCity. Our team members have completed specialized training to better recognize sensory needs and respond with care and understanding. Whether a guest needs assistance finding a quieter area, has questions about the environment, or simply needs additional support during their visit, our staff is ready to help.

Service Animals Are Welcome
Children’s Aquarium Dallas welcomes trained service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We recognize that trained service animals play an important role in helping many individuals safely and comfortably experience public spaces, and we are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive experience for guests visiting our Dallas aquarium.
Because our aquarium features open animal habitats and interactive exhibits, service animals must remain under their handler’s control at all times to help ensure the safety of our animals, other guests, and the service animal itself. Emotional support, comfort, therapy, and companion animals are not permitted.
