The Children’s Aquarium is part of historic Fair Park. Our address is 1462 1st Ave, Dallas, TX 75210.

Enter Gate 6 at Fair Park and you’ll find ample parking near the Aquarium.

What will I see at the Aquarium?

Expect to be amazed by our hands-on/hands-wet interactive and eye-level exhibits covering life in the oceans, rivers and lakes around the world and across the state. Pet and feed stingrays. Help our Archer Fish eat. Talk with our associates about the Aquarium’s animals. You’ll fall in love with the underwater world. Learn more

Is the Children’s Aquarium accessible?

We work to create an environment that is accessible to everyoneWalkways and ramps create easy wheelchair, walker and stroller access throughout the building.

Restrooms are accessible to all guests and include a baby changing table. 

 

The Aquarium is committed to obtaining designation as a Certified Sensory Inclusive facility.  Our team has received training on how to recognize sensory issues and provide assistance as needed. 

 

Service animals, including working dogs in training with an accredited organization, are always permitted inside the Aquarium.

 

Strollers are welcome at the Aquarium, though you may have a more enjoyable experience without them on weekends and holidays when the Aquarium experiences capacity crowds.  Please speak to a team member at the Aquariums front gate if you would like us to store your stroller for you during your visit.  The Aquarium does not have strollers available for loan.

Is the Aquarium only for kids?

Everyone is a kid at heart! The Aquarium is for visitors or all ages. Children and their family members will all delight at watching the animals, enjoying interactive hands-on experiences and talking with our team members.
